What Counts As A School Seat
A seat is an active school-managed student with saved practice, assignment or assessment progress.
Teachers, school leaders and administrators do not count as student seats.
Free teacher accounts can share anonymous practice links, but cannot create named student rosters.
Independent student accounts used at home are separate from school-managed student seats.
School-managed students do not need email addresses, exact birth dates or parent emails by default.
Discounts And Trials
Before the Teacher Plus Founding Beta opens, interest is collected without payment details. When its dedicated page says open, signed-in adult teachers can start Stripe Checkout.
The Teacher Plus Founding Beta will close after 100 completed purchases or 14 days from its announced opening timestamp, whichever happens first.
Codes may reduce a percentage, reduce a fixed amount, or make an approved period free when offered.
Complimentary access can be granted manually for pilots, support fixes or founder users without collecting payment details.
When payments later open, any discounts will apply only to the stated subscription period and will not guarantee the same renewal price unless stated in writing.
Important Terms Summary
Public School, Parent Plus and other paid-plan purchases remain disabled during beta. Only an explicitly open Teacher Plus Founding Beta may start Stripe Checkout.
Teacher Plus is A$49 per teacher per year with quantity fixed at 1.
School is planned at A$10 per school-managed student seat per year. Seat changes will be handled through checkout, invoice, billing portal or support once payments open.
A minimum annual school charge may apply later, but it must be shown before purchase in checkout, an invoice, an order form or a signed school agreement.
Discounts, trials, coupons and complimentary access are discretionary, may be time-limited, and can be revoked if misused or applied in error.
Account Settings lets the billing owner stop renewal, cancel now with an automatic prorata refund of unused time, or cancel now with a full refund of the current paid term. No reason is required for the full current-term refund.
Failed payments may limit, suspend or cancel paid features until billing is fixed.
Prices are in Australian dollars and may exclude GST or other taxes unless stated otherwise. A payable total is collected only in an explicitly open and verified payment flow.
The person purchasing or managing a school account must be authorised to act for that school.
Schools are responsible for having the required notices, consents and lawful basis to create and manage student accounts.
Schools must remove teacher or student access when access is no longer appropriate.
Assessment and progress data is for teaching, planning and reporting support, not medical, psychological or high-stakes diagnostic decisions.
Student data is used to operate the service and is not used for student marketing.
