Terms Of Use

Last updated: 29 May 2026

These terms apply when you use Daily Maths Review, including the review builder, old review links, student practice, parent tools, school tools, paid plans, downloads and support features.

Daily Maths Review is an educational maths service. It is not a medical, psychological or high-stakes diagnostic service.

1. Acceptance

By using Daily Maths Review, creating an account, starting a subscription, sharing a review link, or using the service with students, you agree to these terms and the Privacy Policy. School-managed students, school-managed classes and paid school plans are also covered by the School Agreement And Data Processing Terms.

If you use Daily Maths Review for a school, system, organisation or class, you confirm that you are authorised to do so and to accept these terms for that use.

2. Who Can Use Daily Maths Review

  • Teachers and other adults may use the free tools, account tools and paid teacher or school features.
  • School-managed students may use class links, class codes, assigned work, tests and practice features provided by their teacher or school.
  • Independent student accounts should be created by students who are old enough to manage their own account, or with help from a parent or carer where required by the signup flow.
  • Parent accounts are for home practice support and are separate from school-managed student records unless an approved linking process is completed.

3. Accounts And Security

  • You must provide accurate account information and keep login details secure.
  • Teachers and schools are responsible for managing class codes, student first names, initials, nicknames or classroom names, teacher-created student passwords and access for staff or students under their control.
  • Student passwords should be created only for Daily Maths Review and must not be reused from email, school systems, games or other websites.
  • You must tell us through the contact page if you believe an account, class code or student record has been accessed without permission.

4. School Use And Student Data

School-managed student data is used for educational purposes connected to the class, teacher or school using Daily Maths Review. It must not be used for student marketing, advertising, sale of data or unrelated profiling.

The School Agreement And Data Processing Terms set out school-specific rules for school consent authority, permitted educational purpose, student data control, export, deletion, incident notice, staff access removal and no marketing reuse.

Schools and teachers are responsible for having the authority, notices, consents and lawful basis needed to create school-managed student records and use the service with students.

School users should minimise student information. Use first names, initials, nicknames or classroom names for school-managed students. Unless a reviewed workflow specifically requires it, do not enter student email addresses, parent email addresses, exact birth dates, home addresses, phone numbers, location, health information, government identifiers, photos, audio, video, raw answer content or other sensitive personal information.

School-managed students must not be made discoverable to the public. Daily Maths Review does not provide parent-side student search, public student profile URLs, roster lookup, autocomplete, student email lookup or existence confirmation. Parent access to school-managed records requires a school-approved workflow and a parent-safe view.

Teachers and schools must remove or archive access when a teacher, student or class should no longer use the service.

5. Parent And Student Use

Parent Mode is for home support. A parent account does not automatically give access to school-managed student records.

Independent student accounts are separate from school-managed class-code records unless a deliberate linking flow is completed. A parent or carer should help create an account where the signup flow asks for parent or carer involvement.

6. Educational Content And Results

Daily Maths Review provides generated maths questions, slides, practice activities, tests, progress summaries and recommendations to support teaching, practice and planning.

Teachers, schools, parents and students remain responsible for checking whether generated content, answers, progress summaries and recommendations are suitable for their context. Assessment and progress data should not be used as the only basis for high-stakes decisions about a student.

7. Free And Paid Features

The core review builder, presentation mode, old review links and anonymous practice links are intended to remain free.

Paid features may include Teacher Plus tools, school-managed student seats, downloads, print packs, saved workflow, assignments, curriculum tests, reporting, suggested reviews and exports. The features available to an account depend on the plan, entitlements and release state shown on the site.

Some features may be beta, incomplete or limited while the platform is being rebuilt. Beta features may change, pause or be removed.

8. Billing, Renewal And Cancellation

During the public beta, payments are disabled and paid feature buttons route to register interest. They must not start Stripe Checkout, an app-store purchase or a billing portal unless a future deployment explicitly enables payments.

When payments later open, paid plan prices and quantities must match the pricing page and the amount shown in Stripe Checkout, an app-store purchase sheet, an invoice or a signed school agreement before payment. If a displayed price, checkout price, tax amount or school seat quantity looks wrong, do not complete payment and contact us first.

  • The planned public tiers are Free at A$0, Teacher Plus at A$49 per teacher per year, and School at A$10 per school-managed student seat per year.
  • Teacher Plus is a one-teacher annual subscription with quantity fixed at 1. It is intended for one teacher-managed class and up to the student limit shown on the pricing page or in the plan entitlements.
  • The School plan is an annual subscription charged by school-managed student seats. The purchaser chooses the initial seat quantity at checkout, within the allowed minimum and maximum shown by the service. Teachers, school leaders and administrators do not count as student seats.
  • A minimum annual school charge may apply. Any minimum must be shown before purchase in Stripe Checkout, an invoice, an order form or a signed school agreement. It is not an extra hidden fee added after checkout.
  • Annual subscriptions will renew every 12 months once payments are enabled, unless cancelled through the Stripe billing portal or by contacting support where portal access is unavailable.
  • Cancellation stops the next renewal. Unless Stripe Checkout, the billing portal, a signed school agreement or applicable law says otherwise, cancellation does not automatically refund the unused part of the current paid period and paid access may continue until the end of that period.
  • Seat increases, seat reductions, plan changes and payment method changes are handled through Stripe Checkout, the Stripe billing portal or support. Stripe may apply any resulting charge, credit, proration or renewal adjustment according to the Stripe settings shown or invoiced for that change.
  • If a payment fails, Stripe may retry payment and send billing notices. We may limit, suspend, downgrade or cancel paid features if a subscription is past due, unpaid, incomplete, expired or cancelled. Free tools may remain available where technically possible.
  • Prices are shown in Australian dollars. Prices may exclude GST or other taxes unless stated otherwise. Any GST, tax, discount, promotion code or total amount shown in Stripe Checkout or on a Stripe invoice is the amount payable for that transaction.
  • If Daily Maths Review is not registered for GST, invoices or receipts should not charge GST or be described as tax invoices. If Daily Maths Review is registered for GST or Stripe Tax is configured, GST or other applicable taxes may be added or shown as required.
  • Stripe may collect billing name, email, address, payment details and tax information needed to process payments, manage subscriptions, issue invoices, handle refunds and meet tax or accounting obligations.
  • Price changes for existing paid subscriptions apply from the next renewal unless a different timing is shown at checkout, agreed in writing, or required by law. We will not charge a changed renewal price without the notice or checkout/portal disclosure required by law.
  • A school purchaser or billing manager must be authorised to act for the school.

9. Refunds And Consumer Rights

Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee, warranty or right that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law or other applicable law.

If Daily Maths Review fails to meet a non-excludable consumer guarantee, you may be entitled to a remedy such as correction, cancellation, a refund or partial refund for the affected service, a price reduction, or compensation where required by law.

For a major problem with a paid service, Australian Consumer Law rights may include cancelling the affected service and receiving a refund for the part not properly supplied, or keeping the service with an appropriate price reduction. For a minor problem, we may first be entitled to fix the problem within a reasonable time.

Change-of-mind refunds, refunds because a user did not use the service, and refunds because a subscription was not cancelled before renewal are not guaranteed unless required by law, stated at checkout, or agreed in writing. Contact us through the contact page if you believe a paid feature has not been supplied as described, has a major problem, was charged incorrectly, or should be refunded under consumer law.

10. Acceptable Use

  • Do not try to access accounts, classes, student records, billing records, admin tools or data that you are not authorised to access.
  • Do not bypass plan limits, school seat limits, security controls, payment controls or student data boundaries.
  • Do not upload, submit or store illegal, harmful, abusive, discriminatory, sexually explicit, exploitative, confidential or sensitive information that is not needed for the service.
  • Do not interfere with the service, scrape it at unreasonable volume, reverse engineer protected systems, introduce malware, or use the service to spam, phish or mislead others.
  • Do not use Daily Maths Review in a way that breaches school policy, law, student privacy obligations or another person's rights.

11. Content And Intellectual Property

Daily Maths Review owns or licenses the website design, code, activity structures, generated review templates, graphics, text, downloadable files and other materials provided through the service, except for content supplied by users or third-party providers.

You may use Daily Maths Review materials for classroom teaching, student practice, home practice, school planning and ordinary educational use connected to the service. You must not sell, repackage, publish, copy at scale, or make a competing product from Daily Maths Review content without written permission.

Australian copyright law and education-sector licence schemes may allow some uses without direct permission. Those legal rights are not limited by these terms.

12. User Content And Feedback

You keep ownership of names, messages, class information, student work, support requests and other content you submit. You give Daily Maths Review permission to host, process, display, copy and use that content as needed to provide the service, support users, maintain security, improve reliability and comply with legal obligations.

If you send feedback, suggestions or feature ideas, we may use them to improve Daily Maths Review without owing payment or attribution.

13. Privacy And Data Protection

Our handling of personal information is described in the Privacy Policy. The Privacy Policy covers teacher, parent, student, class, practice, support, usage and technical information.

The School Agreement And Data Processing Terms apply to school-managed students and paid school plans unless a separate signed school agreement, purchase order, data processing agreement or privacy addendum says otherwise. If a separate signed agreement conflicts with these website terms, the signed agreement controls for that school to the extent of the conflict.

14. Availability And Changes

We aim to keep Daily Maths Review useful and available, but online services can be interrupted by maintenance, outages, browser changes, third-party services, security issues or operational limits.

We may update activities, features, plans, pricing, account rules and these terms as the service develops. Material changes will be posted on this page or shown through the service. We will not use a terms update to remove non-excludable rights or unfairly take away paid access already purchased. Continued use after an update means you accept the updated terms.

15. Suspension Or Termination

We may suspend or limit access if an account breaches these terms, creates security or privacy risk, has unpaid billing that affects paid access, or uses the service in a way that may harm students, schools, users or Daily Maths Review.

You may stop using the service at any time. Teachers, schools, parents and students can request help with account access, correction or deletion through the contact page.

16. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Daily Maths Review is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, loss of profit, loss of opportunity, loss of goodwill, or loss caused by unauthorised use of accounts where reasonable security steps were not followed.

This section does not limit liability that cannot legally be excluded, including non-excludable rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

17. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of South Australia and the laws of the Commonwealth of Australia. Courts with jurisdiction in South Australia may hear disputes about these terms, subject to any non-excludable rights you have under applicable law.

18. Contact

For support, billing questions, privacy requests, school agreement questions, cancellation help or refund requests, contact Daily Maths Review through the contact page.
