About Daily Maths Review

Mr Heading

Hi, my name is Mr Heading and I am a Year 3 teacher. I created this site for teachers to use so that they can save time in their preparation.

Why Daily Maths Review exists

I know how much work it takes to prepare clear review questions, classroom slides and worksheets. Daily Maths Review is designed to reduce that preparation time while leaving teachers in control of the questions and settings they use.

How the maths resources are prepared and checked

The same activities power classroom slides, student practice and printable resources, helping questions and answers stay consistent across the site.

  • Activities are tested repeatedly to check that questions and answers work as expected.
  • Visual activities are checked on classroom screens, tablets and phones.
  • If one activity has a problem, the rest of the review can continue.
  • Teacher reports and corrections help guide the next round of fixes.

Planning guidance, not an automatic judgement

Year and curriculum mappings are planning guidance where reviewed mappings are available. Practice results are not automatically treated as mastery, a report-card grade or a formal assessment decision. The algorithm transparency page explains these boundaries in more detail.
